Tay Jardine is an American singer, songwriter, and musician. She was born on March 7, 1990, in Liberty, New York. Tay began her music career in 2007 as the lead vocalist of the band We Are the In Crowd. The band released three full-length albums and went on several tours before disbanding in 2016.
After the breakup of We Are the In Crowd, Tay formed the acoustic project SAINTE and released an EP in 2017. She has also done guest vocals on several songs for other artists.
Tay is known for her powerful and emotive vocal delivery as well as her energetic live performances. She has cited influences such as Paramore, The Starting Line, and Jimmy Eat World in her music.
In addition to her music career, Tay is also an advocate for mental health awareness and has spoken publicly about her own struggles with anxiety and depression.
